TIMBER WOLF LODGE As many of you are aware there was a tragic fire at Timber Wolf Lodge on the morning of June 2nd. The fire destroyed the main lodge and the owner’s quarters. Tragically it also took the life of the owner, Doug Brown. The fire destroyed much of the resort’s electrical utility as well as the water system. And so we regretfully inform you that Timber Wolf Lodge is closed until further notice. For our incoming guests who are seeking a different cabin in the area, our neighbor and friend, Marie Vogt from Northern Lights Resort will assist you. Her number is 218.827.2501. The Ely Chamber of Commerce is also glad to assist with your reservation needs. They can be reached at 800-777-7281. For anyone who has personal possessions on the property please know that it is locked due to ongoing investigations.
